The Call of the Rise of the Guardians

I watched as Santa Claus, The Easter Bunny, Sandy the sand man, the Tooth Fairy, and Jack Frost were all chosen to be the guardians of the world! The Man on the Moon chose these five guardians to protect, guard, and ensure that the children of the world remained safe and guarded from any and all darkness! CHILDREN OF GOD!! CHILDREN OF GOD!! CHILDREN OF THE CREATOR OF ALL HEAVEN AND EARTH! We are the children of light, the Most High God! Called to shine brightly unto the world, with the Glory of the Father! We are called, “to be fruitful, to multiple, to replenish, subdue, and have dominion (Gen. 1:28). Called to “go into all the world and preach the Gospel to all creation (Mark 16:15). Making sure that this world, created by our Father, for us, is guarded. Enforcing that no child of God is cast away or fallen into darkness. Dedicated to making sure that very darkness is SHUT DOWN! This is the real call. The real call of the Rise of the Guardians!!

I watched this movie that is meant to be for children, yet as I watched I saw a parallel of what I see in the Body of Christ! In the movie you have four guardians Sandy, Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. These are the four original guardians picked by the Man on the Moon, and they have been guarding the Children of the world from darkness for years. Chosen and given the AUTHORITY  to bring hope, joy, and wonder to the world directly in the midst of darkness himself, The Boogeyman! It was their light that cast the Boogeyman to utter darkness. Any of this sounding familiar yet? Despite the four’s powerful beginning, they are successful at guarding the world during the years the darkness is away, but they have become familiar to the routine of preparing for their specific holidays and work. So much so, that they have forgotten their inner witnesses of why they do what they do! Of course they are all quickly reminded when the Boogeyman returns, and begin destroying the faith the kids have in them, unto him. Which of course only fuels his power!

Then we have Jack Frost. Chosen to become a guardian by the Man on the Moon as well. He is young and vibrant, he has this power but the children of the world doesn’t believe in him because the children of the world doesn’t know he exists, yet! Jack suffers from identity crisis. What I failed to mention before is that each guardian was reborn into who they are now, they all had previous lives, and Jack doesn’t remember his and is struggling to accept his call to be a guardian with questions of why. Through out the movie Jack has to learn to see himself the way the Man on the Moon does. When he does, he realizes that the attributes he allowed the Boogeyman to convince him was bad, were the attributes that made him the guardian the world needed!

Any of this connecting yet?

So when I look at the Body of Christ I see churches that are focused on “having church” and they forsake their witness to others. I see churches neglecting the power given in order to look good or fit in. I also see a lot of Jacks, suffering from identity crisis, not knowing who they are or whose they are, and once again forfeiting the power that has been given. Oh! Whats funny is that when Jack realized who he was and his power it was the belief in him from one child that saved the other guardians and the world!

So, why does any of this matter?

Well, unless you live on mars, our nation is in turmoil… and the Body of Christ has yet to take her rightful place! The most disturbing thing to me, right now, is that at this moment the world is fully awake, scared, hopeless, looking for an answer… Yet, the answer isn’t where she should be and most don’t even realize that they are the answer!

Over 2000 years ago, our savior and our brother Jesus died on the cross to release Holy Ghost into the earth realm, free us from sin, save our souls from the second death, and to PUT US BACK IN OUR RIGHTFUL PLACE WITH GOD OUR FATHER! Before he ascended into heaven he did one more thing, He gave us AUTHORITY over earth, heaven, and hell. Now, BOOM! We are back in Gen. 1:28 and Mark 16:15.

Body of Christ do you hear the wake up call? The world is ready “waiting on the revealing of the sons of God” (Romans 8:16). WE NEED TO WAKE UP!!! We got to realize who we are and whose we are. We can no longer slumber and idly sit by, we can No longer try and fit into a world we were meant to subdue, take over, and replenish! We got to shake ourselves out of this identity crisis, step up and realize that we are NOT normal and was NEVER meant to be normal. We were not meant to think, talk, act, and react the way the world does. We forfeited that when we made Jesus the Lord of our lives. We are Kings and Queens and we need to believe and act like it! We have an open heaven over us and the Living God inside of us! So when you walk into the room, God walks into the room. When you speak, God is speaking. We are the expressed image and Glory of God and in us is the answer, therefore, WE ARE THE ANSWER!!

NO longer can we limit the power of God! We don’t step out in faith, we live and thrive in faith! I don’t leave it in God’s hands, he left it in our hands. Problems don’t have to be taken to God when we have the power to command, and because we say it must! Our precious communication with God should be only to build our relationship and receive further instructions. We have power and authority and ALL of heaven to back us up!

Its time! Its time to accept the call! If you accept the call there is no half stepping, people’s very lives and soul are dependent on you! We are responsible. God left us in charge! Now, its time to take our posts! Suit up Guardians! Take up your belt of truth, breastplate of righteousness, shield of faith, helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit and FIGHT!

The world is calling. I’m calling. God is calling!

Will you Rise? Will you fight?  Body of Christ will you be the Guardians??

Our Spiritual Eyes๐Ÿ‘€

Did you know you have two sets of eyes? This is shocking news, I know! Especially because you probably only see two eyes when you look in the mirror! Well see, we have those two beautiful eyes we look around with everyday, and then we have a set of Spiritual eyes.

Each day as we experience life and all that life may encompass, we may only be using our natural eyes when we should be using our spiritual ones! What we “see” and how we view the world and circumstances around us, directly affects the actions we take and the decisions we make! Some people may say or ask, ” Do you see the glass half empty or half full?” I am going to ask,”Do you see empty hopes and dreams or an opportunity for God?”

We ALL experience obstacles, circumstances and short comings, as well as, gifts and blessings. But what’s different is the way we perceive them. We should begin to ask God to allow us to view life through our spiritual eyes, that allows us to see life as Jesus did. How did Jesus view life? Well, first, He knew that the Father was always with him and loved him! He walked everyday expressing God’s love and actively doing the will of God. Every circumstance that approached him, he always “seen” the reality from the illusion. He always knew that he had the upper hand and every problem was an opportunity for God to do another work! Which leads me to another good point; Jesus knew God did the work and he walked and acted by FAITH!

Kings 6:15-17 shows us a good example of natural “looking” and spiritual “looking.” It also shows why we should ask God to allow us to see with our Spiritual eyes. Elisha’s servant awoke one morning to find troops and chariots outside, that was sent from an angry King. Beginning to panic he asked Elisha what should they do. Elisha replied yo him, “Don’t be afraid. We have more forces on our side than they have on theirs.” (2 Kings 6:16) He then prayed to God and asked God to open his servants “EYES” so he could see. When he prayed to God the servants eyes opened and he seen, “the mountain full of fiery horses and chariots.”(2 Kings 6:17) Here we are two different men in the same situation, yet, each was looking with different eyes that caused different actions. Elisha calm and grounded and his servant anxious and nervous. I’ll say it again, “How we perceive things affect our actions!”

When we are not looking with our Spiritual eyes we open ourselves up to depression, discouragement and unbelief. How? Our vision is off and our of whack. We are no longer viewing the world through eyes of faith but through natural emotion, which does NO good! Our natural eyes are an illusion while our Spiritual eyes are reality, true facts that line up with the will of God. The point of switching over is to line our vision with Gods so we can begin to act accordingly! When we do this we begin to handle situations and circumstances better, because our Spiritual eyes are our faith by which we walk by.

So don’t go another day using your natural eyes. Ask God to allow you to see spiritually, so you can be able to discern and ask for wisdom to act accordingly to your discernment. Ask God in this moment to open your eyes and allow you to see with your spiritual eyes!!
